NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS
From the Directors, March 2020
Heatco Australia Pty Ltd ABN 16 613 418 518 ("Heatco") has closed permanently, effective from 17 March 2020.
PRODUCT WARRANTIES
The Directors of Heatco remain committed to facilitating customer warranty support from the manufacturer(s) for all non-Serene branded products that Heatco has sold, and we see no issues with providing ongoing support.
SERENE LIVING / HEATER WARRANTIES
For all Serene Living product warranties and support please contact the manufacturer:
Serene Industries Ltd www.serene-ind.com
Australia Office
Free-Phone: 1800 844 942
AUenquiry@serene-ind.com
Whilst we have previously managed all Serene product warranty claims in house, we no longer do because it is not an option for us to continue to keep supplying customers poor quality replacement Serene products that now also have their safety certification either expired or deleted entirely by Serene Industries Ltd, as detailed below.

___________________________________________________
This decision to close HeatCo is due the following (in order):
1. Extreme difficulties with our foundation heating brand Serene Industries Ltd, including;
(a) Poor product quality with high endemic failure rates across the whole Serene Living product range.
(b) Zero warranty and product support from Serene Industries Ltd to any of their Australian distributors/resellers.
(c) Highly unreliable general product supply continuity.
(d) Serene Industries have a history of abandoning their published electrical safety and compliances for Australia and New Zealand.
(e) The ongoing numerous regulatory and consumer law investigations and the associated negative publicity concerning Serene Industries Ltd and its CEO/Owner Christopher James Woodward including;
> Wikifrauds
> Choice Consumer Advocacy
> Safety Regulator
> ACCC
> NSW Fair Trading
2. COVID-19 and global logistics delays
Whilst Heatco also sold many other very good brands, it has also been significantly affected by the global situation around COVID-19 that has deteriorated significantly since March 2020.
This ongoing C-19 situation has seen all product supplies become highly unreliable with nil visibility on restoring commercial viability through our global supply chains, even in the medium term.
Reviewing this situation again in October 2020 has confirmed that this situation has only got worse with anything at all involving international procurement.
___________________________________________________
We thank all customers over the years for their support, and we regret this unsavoury but necessary decision.
This includes all the other product brands that Heatco has also sold that have given us absolutely no trouble whatsoever.
Yours Faithfully,
The Directors
